Temporary closure of Komoriko Avenue for road rehabilitation works.
The Ministry of Infrastructure, Public Works, Land Affairs, Urban Planning and Housing of the City of
Kinshasa hereby informs the population of Kinshasa that, due to road rehabilitation works, KOMORIKO
Avenue, on the section between Bangala Avenue (Vélodrome Stop) and OUA Avenue, in the municipality
of Kintambo, will be closed to traffic starting this Saturday, March 14, 2026, at midnight, for a maximum
duration of 40 days.
To maintain traffic flow during works and minimize disruption, the following temporary detours have been
established :
– KOKOLOAvenue
– OUAAvenue
– BANDUNDUAvenue
– LUSAMBOAvenue
– LUKENGOAvenue
– KWANGOAvenue
The Provincial Ministry of Infrastructure, Public Works, Land Affairs, Urban Planning and Housing wishes
to reassure the public that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the swift, efficient, and high
quality execution of the works. It also calls for the understanding, patience, and cooperation of all road
users, despite the temporary inconvenience that these works may cause.
The Ministry also calls upon the responsibility of the civil and military authorities, as well as the Congolese
National Police, to take all necessary measures to maintain public order and ensure the smooth progress of operations.
