
Kinshasa: Temporary Closure of TOMBALBAY and DU FLEUVE Avenues for Road Rehabilitation Works.

The Provincial Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Works of the city of Kinshasa informs the residents of Kinshasa that, as part of the ongoing road rehabilitation works across the capital, TOMBALBAY Avenue, on the stretch between Avenue de la Démocratie (formerly Huileries) and Avenue Wangata in Gombe municipality, as well as Avenue DU FLEUVE, on the stretch between the Kimbanguist Church and the Mbudi Six-Portes bus-stop in Mont-Ngafula municipality, will be closed to traffic starting Saturday, August 23, 2025.

The Provincial Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Works wishes to reassure the public that all measures have been taken to ensure the rapid and efficient execution of the works. It also urges road users for their understanding and cooperation despite the temporary inconveniences that this closure may cause.
Furthermore, it calls on the responsibility of civil and military authorities, as well as the Congolese National Police, to take all necessary measures to maintain public order and ensure that operations run smoothly.
